Manager - Media and Communications Deputy Director of Genpact Centre for Women’s Leadership The Genpact Centre for Women's Leadership (GCWL) aims to advance women's roles in the workforce and in Indian society through path-breaking research, pioneering programmes and championing breakthrough practices and policies. GCWL is a unique partnership between Ashoka University and Genpact. Our vision is to mobilize world-class resources to champion women's leadership and gender equity in India – across regions, organizations, and generations. Role and The manager for media & Communications is responsible for implementing GCWL’s Responsibilities communication strategy and initiatives. S/he will be an expert in designing communication strategies and implementation plans, and managing creative agencies for developing communication outputs. S/he will have considerable experience in developing implementation strategy for successful mass media projects. S/he will be a strategic thinker with expertise in social and behavior change communication who has experience of both media and development sectors. S/he needs experience working at a high level where diplomacy and good interpersonal skills are essential. The Communications Manager is expected to have experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders. • Execute communications programs that effectively describe and promote GCWL and its initiatives • Provide support in managing website, develop content, press releases, bylined articles, white papers, corporate videos, and marketing collateral • Create presentations for corporate partners for reporting requirements • Manage GCWL’s online presence Eligibility: • Must have a bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or (Education & other related fields, Master degree preferred Experience) • Proven five to eight years of experience in media and communication • Experience of working on successful multi-media campaigns working across multiple communication platforms. Skill set • Demonstrable understanding or experience of creating communication content for a Required: range of stakeholders. • Proven experience of managing creative, advertising and digital agencies for effective delivery of communication campaigns. • Experience in social media management and/or online news a huge plus. Must be familiar with management of web and social media platforms, especially Facebook, twitter and YouTube • Knowledge in google tools such as Google Analytics, Ad words, and SEO and digital marketing tools would be a plus

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, and the ability to negotiate tactfully and effectively. • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally • Ability to demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation, planning and organization, and strategic thinking. • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to manage clients. • Self-motivated and capable of setting priorities and working under pressure Ashoka University Campus, Sonepat, Haryana and other locations Full-time role, Monday – Friday
