Mr. President: The Committees on Education, Arts and Culture and on Finance to which was referred House Bill No. 5373, introduced by Representatives Diaz, De Guzman, and Lagman, entitled: "AN ACT CONVERTING THE PANAM HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BOTOLAN, PROVINCE OF ZAMBALES INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS PANAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR have considered the same and have the honor to report it back to the Senate with the recommendation that it be approved without amendment.

AN ACT CONVERTING THE PANAN HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BOTOLAN, PROVINCE QF ZAMBALES INTO A NATIONAL H E N SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS PANAN NATIONU HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR Be i f enacted by the Senate and House of Rgpresentatives of the Philppines in Congress assembled: 1

SECTION 1 .

Conversion inlo a National High School, - The Panan

High School in the Municipality of Botolan, Province of Zanbales is hereby

3

converted into a national high school to be Icnown as Panan National High

4

School.

SEC. 2. Transfer of Assets and LiabiIitia - All personnel, assets,

6

liabilities and records o f the Panan High School are hereby transferred to and

7

absorbed by the Panan National High School.

SEC.3. Appropriations. - The Secretary of Education shall

9

immediately include in the Department’s program the operationalizatim of the

10

Panan National High School, the initial funding of which shall be charged

against the current year's appropriations of the Panm High School. Thereafter.

the amount necessaiy for the continued operation of the school shall be

3

included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Ssc. 4. Impiementution. - The Secretary o f Education shall issue rules and regulations that may be necessary to carry out the purpose ofthis Act.

SEC.5. EfectiviQ. - This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the OSficialGuzette.
