1. Penambahan nukleotida dengan dosis 300 mg.kg-1 pakan menghasilkan peningkatan jumlah hemosit dan aktivitas PO tertinggi sedangkan resistensi dan pertumbuhan udang terbaik dicapai pada dosis 400 mg.kg-1 2. Untuk dapat meningkatkan jumlah total hemosit, aktivitas phenoloxidase dan pertumbuhan udang vaname maka penambahan nukleotida dalam pakan dengan dosis 400 mg.kg-1 pakan perlu diberikan selama 4 minggu secara terus menerus 3. Dibandingkan dengan β-glukan, penambahan nukleotida dalam pakan memberi pengaruh yang lebih baik terhadap peningkatan jumlah hemosit, aktivitas PO, resistensi, dan pertumbuhan udang vaname 4. Dalam usaha budidaya udang di tambak, aplikasi nukleotida dengan dosis 400 mg.kg-1 pakan yang diberikan selama empat minggu dapat meningkatkan resistensi dan performa pertumbuhan udang Saran 1. Eksplorasi bahan sebagai sumber nukleotida yang tepat, mudah diperoleh dan murah perlu dilakukan untuk aplikasi nukleotida dalam manajemen kesehatan budidaya udang vaname 2. Untuk mendapatkan protokol pemberian nukleotida yang efektif yang dapat mengoptimalkanpeningkatkan respon imun, resistensi, dan pertumbuhan udang vaname maka penelitian dengan interval 7 hari pemberianpakan yang ditambahkan nukleotida dan 7 hari pemberian pakan standar perlu dilakukan dengan waktu pengamatan yang lebih panjang
