“TAWAU ICT FIESTA 2009 2009”” - INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY EXHIBITION Sabah Computer Society in collaboration with the Sabah State Government through Unit Kemajuan IT Negeri (KIT) of Kementerian Pembangunan Sumber dan Kemajuan IT (KSPKTM) once again present to you the ICT exhibition “Tawau ICT Fiesta 2009 2009””. This is the ICT exhibition for all the people in Sabah, that is, both the suppliers and the users. The objectives are to improve the ICT ownership, reduce digital gab and introduce newest technology at a very affordable price to all the people. Sabah Computer Society (Persatuan Komputer Sabah) TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Whatever appears in these terms and conditions, the term “the Organiser’ shall mean the Sabah State Government through Unit Kemauan IT Negeri (KIT) of Kementerian Pembangunan Sumber Dan Kemajuan IT (KPSKTM) and Sabah Computer Society (SCS). ‘The Exhibition’ shall mean the exhibition named TAWAU ICT FIESTA 2009 organised by Sabah State Government through KIT of KSPKTM and SCS. ‘The Applicant’ shall mean an individual or Company or Organisation who wishes to participate in the Exhibition. ‘The Exhibitor’ shall mean the successful applicant who operates an exhibition booth in the Exhibition. 2. The venue, date and time of the Exhibition is as follows: Venue : Tawau Community Center, Tawau, Sabah Date : 14 Aug. 2009 to 16 Aug. 2009 Time : 10.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m daily. 3. The Organiser shall make available 3 types of booths, type A 20'(W) x 20'(L) = 5 units, type B 40'(W) x 10'(L) = 3 units and type C 10'(W) x 10'(L) = 20 units units. However, it is the right of the organiser to increase or decrease the number of booths or changing the type of booths. 4. The application for booth(s) shall be opened from 1 July. 2009 and closed on 14 July. 2009. 5. The rental rates per booth are as follows: - Type A for RM5,000 - Type B for RM4,500 - Type C for RM1,200 (1 booth) RM1,100 (2 booths and above) 6. The date to ballot the booth location for the successful exhibitors will be on 31 July 2009 in Tawau Tawau. Time and venue will be notified at a later stage. 7. The Applicant must complete the application form and submit to the Organiser on or before the specified closing date. Each application form must be accompanied with full payment for requested number of booth(s) at the rate specified. The Organiser reserves the right not to accept any application without accompanied full payments or uncompleted applications forms or applications received after the closing date. Sabah 8. Payment in the form of crossed cheque or bank draft must be made payable to “Sabah Computer Society Society”. Cash payment shall only be allowed if paid in person to the Honorary Treasurer of Sabah Computer Society and thereupon obtain duly issued official receipts. Cash payment in any other way are strictly not allowed and the Organiser shall not be responsible for any lost of such cash in such transactions. Applicant may also bank-in the full payment amount to the Society’s account and presents the bank-in slip together with the completed form to the organiser. The detail of the account is as follows: Bank: Public Bank Berhad (A/C No.: 3081022502) 9. Subject to clause 3 and 7 hereinabove stated, full payment in any form submitted to the Organiser shall be duly returned to the unsuccessful applicants.

Sabah Computer Society (Persatuan Komputer Sabah) 10. There will be no refund on cancellation after booth allocation is confirmed. However, booth(s) are transferable subject to the organiser’s approval. 11. The Organiser shall work closely with the management of the building to ensure adequate security measures. 12. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any damage of whatsoever nature caused to the Exhibitor or their employees or their wares/goods. The Exhibitors are advised to arrange their own insurance against damages of whatsoever nature during the Exhibition. 13. The Exhibitor shall be liable for the cost to any damage to the Exhibition Hall of whatsoever nature, caused to by the Exhibitor or/and their employees. 14. The Exhibitors may prepare the allocated booth(s) on 13 Aug. 2009 from 12.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. The booth(s) must be cleared of all decorations and wares/goods by 12.00 mid night on 16 Aug. 2009. 15. The Organiser reserves the right to forbid any decorations, renovations and constructions, etc. which in the opinion of the management of the building and/or the Organiser is unacceptable. 16. The Organiser reserves the right to modify or alter any of the terms and Conditions which deems fit and necessary without the prior notice to the Applicants/Exhibitors. 17. Sabah Computer Society (Persatuan Komputer Sabah) Additional Rules & Regulation a. Exhibitors shall render full co-operation to the Organiser all the time. b. Exhibitors are prohibited to use other spaces, for whatever purpose, other than those allocated to them. The Organiser reserved the right to charge RM20 per square feet for every extra space used by the Exhibitor. c. Exhibitors are prohibited to place any of their property or exhibit in a position or location such that it obstructs the smooth flow of the visitors or/and pose dangers to any individuals. The Organiser reserved the right to remove such property and exhibit the deemed obstructing and dangerous. d. Exhibitors are prohibited from producing excessive noises that disturbed other exhibitors. e. Exhibitors shall be liable for any damaged caused to the exhibition hall. Any compensation rendered by owner of the exhibition hall on the damaged caused shall be borne by the Exhibitor concern. f.

The Organiser is not be liable to any damaged caused by any nature on the Exhibitor’s properties or exhibits. As such Exhibitors are encouraged to take their own insurance protection for their properties and exhibits.

g. The Organiser is not liable to any third party claim of whatever nature to the Exhibitor. h. Any major renovations or decorations to the allocated booth(s) by the Exhibitor shall first consult and seek the approval of the Organiser. i.

The Organiser reserved the right to charge the Exhibitor cleaning fee for any cleaning service rendered as a result of residue not cleared by the Exhibitor.

k. No Standing Banner shall be displayed outside the allocated space/booths. l.

Each booth (refer as per 100 sq ft booth) shall be allocated with three (3) exhibition tags. Any additional, request shall be forwarded to the Organiser on or before 12th August 2009. The Organiser reserves the right not to fulfill the additional request.

m. Each booth (refer as per 100 sq ft booth) shall be provided with three (3) boxes of 24 bottles per box of drinking water.
