Solution Architect Solution Architect MAP_IT Bhopal Contractual upto 2 years. Extendable basis performance Essential Criteria Qualification:  B.E / B. Tech (in any stream) / MCA / MSc (CS/IT) or Postgraduation in (CS/IT) Experience:  12 years of work experience with at least 5 years as a Solution Architect  A minimum of two years in a professional senior technical role such as technical lead, team lead, architect, or other hands on leadership role ideally for a major consultancy or system integrator Desirable Criteria 

Job Objective

Primary responsibilities

Prior exposure to work with the government departments/functions/Event or field based IT/eGovernance projects would be preferred.  TOGAF/equivalent certification The Solution Architect is responsible for the development of the technology solutions and mapping the business requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure they are in line with the organization’s architectural plan. 1. Review, interpret and respond to detailed business requirements specifications (BRS) and ensure their alignment with the organization’s architectural plan 2. Provide input to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the organization’s architecture and maximize the return on technology investment 3. Suggest & implement enterprise architecture, define and design technology solutions to assist the organization in meeting their business objectives 4. Develop, test and implement technology solutions and report on delivery commitments to ensure solutions are implemented as expected and to

agreed timeframes 5. Identify system, infrastructure and project interdependencies and balance competing demands to ensure project deliverables are achieved 6. Identify implementation challenges, dependencies and integration points. 7. All other project related work assigned by department from time to time 8. FRS, SRS, Modelling and HLD 9. Technology as per enterprise business objectives 10. Cost benefit analysis on technology investment 11. Service design procedure and service delivery processes 12. Backup, disaster, storage and security plan 13. Collaboration with IT team and report to Head COE, Client interaction 14. Configuration Mgmt. 15. Client requirement analysis and mapping with designed solution 16. Solution evaluation and mapping 17. Application modelling and reuse 18. Application performance parameters and architecture 19. Database and Application Architecture 20. Training and retraining need analysis 21. Creating Solution prototype / POC 22. Knowledge of backup, disaster and recovery planning 23. Knowledge of design of training and retaining solution requirement for the project 24. Knowledge of operation, maintenance, upgrade, enhancement and change policy and plan 25. Knowledge of FRS, business objective and module mapping 26. Design of security solutions for project 27. knowledge of modeling and prototyping 28.
