Pre-requisite Program (PRPs) Training for FSSC 22000

FSSC 22000:2010 is an International Standard developed for the certification of Food Safety Management Systems for food manufacturers. It combines the requirements of ISO 22000:2005 (Food Safety Management Systems requirements) and PASS220:2008 (prerequisite programmes on food safety for food manufacturing). The FSSC 22000:2010 scheme is fully recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GSFI), the benchmarking body for the harmonization of international food safety standards, along with other food safety management schemes like the BRC, IFS and SQF schemes. The strong element of ISO 22000:2005 in the standard makes it align with other generic management systems such as the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 to enable effective system integration.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

COURSE LEADER

Upon successful completion of the course, the delegates will be able to: • Understand the Prerequisite Programmes (PRPs) • Be able to develop and document the PRPs • Have sufficient capability to implement the PRPs

The course leader is experienced and qualified trainer. He / She is a practicing consultant. He / She is chosen for his/her proven industrial experience, technical competency, good communication skills and capability to understand the problem you face.

TRAINING APPROACH

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This practical course combines classroom teaching, practical exercises and group discussion to provide a complete action learning experience. The course has been designed to enable all participants leave the training with a set of new knowledge and practical experience of how to support in developing the Food Safety System for the company.

This course is designed for the personnel who will be involved in the FSSC 22000, including the key personnel from the Store (material and product), Production, R&D, Quality Control, Maintenance, HR/Training, Administration, Purchasing/Procurement, and Logistics Department.

COURSE DURATION This is a two days course running from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
